The Steiff 140th Anniversary Bear with Elephant

Steiff built their reputation on two animals – a bear and an elephant. To celebrate their 140^th anniversary, they’ve combined their two most significant creations in a very special limited-edition collector’s piece.Hand-made from luxurious classic beige mohair, this handsome bear has the words “140 Jahre” (German for 140 years) delicately embroidered on his left footpad. Around his neck is a sumptuous sky-blue ribbon and in his paw he holds a miniature white felt elephant.This special commemorative bear is being issued in a limited-edition of only 1,880 pieces worldwide – in memory of the year it all began.
