Throughout the turmoil of the Great War, George V maintained the monarchy as a stabilising force. He embodied diligence and duty, and his Silver Jubilee in 1935 was an occasion for much public rejoicing before his tragic passing in 1936 at the age of 70. Now you can celebrate the reign of this beloved monarch with this landmark collection of coins, plus an uncirculated Crown, issued during his reign, presented in a handsome wooden display chest.

This magnificent collection brings seventeen different coins issued during the reign of George V. Your collection will include both 92.5% and 50% silver issues of the threepence, sixpence, shilling, florin and half crown, which was reduced in 1920 due to the impact of the First World War. Will you be able to tell the difference? It also includes a bronze farthing and halfpenny, as well as examples of pennies from the Royal Mint, Heaton Mint and King’s Norton Mint.

To finish your collection is a special 1913 one third farthing, minted for the Crown Colony of Malta, and the stunning 1935 Crown, issued to celebrate King George V’s Silver Jubilee, a year before his death.

You will also receive a specially designed wooden display chest to house the collection, yours at no additional charge. Featuring a glass-top and a silver lock and key, it’s the perfect place to store and organise your collection. It will arrive in your third delivery along with your Certificate of Authenticity.

What are instalment payments?
When you choose to pay in instalments, you can get your order now and split your purchase total into multiple budget-friendly payments. It's an easy, interest-free way to shop!
When instalment billing is offered, the total cost of the item and postage & handling charges are evenly divided by the number of instalments for that item. Simply pay your first instalment now. Subsequent instalments are charged monthly, directly to the payment method you authorized at checkout.
There are no gimmicks or hidden fees. The total cost of an item doesn’t change whether paying in full or in instalments. This is simply offered as a convenience to our customers.
Please be advised that instalments are only available on orders placed with a major credit card.

Does it cost more to pay by the instalment plan than if you pay all at once?
No, there is no extra cost for paying by instalments – this is a convenience that we offer to our customers.

Why do I pay for postage and handling on each instalment?
We take the total cost of postage and hnadling and divide it by the number of instalments so that each instalment is the same amount. The shipping and service charge is the same whether you pay in full or in instalments.
