You can explore the history of the British silver coinage through the eyes of the last four kings to sit on the British throne with this stunning collection featuring silver coins from the last four kings of Britain, presented in a deluxe wooden display.

This collection brings together seventeen different silver coins from the last four British kings. It includes threepences, sixpences, shillings, florins and half-crowns from the reigns of Edward VII, George V and George VI. The Edward and George V coins all struck in 92.5% sterling silver, while the George VI coins are minted from 50% silver.

This remarkable collection includes several highly sought-after and rare coins, including an Edward VII florin, which features the first ‘Standing Britannia’, a George V sixpence whose lion standing on a crown design was influenced by sixpence released during the reign of George IV in 1826, and the George VI florin which depicted a crowned rose between a thistle and a shamrock. It was also the coin which saw the denomination change from “One Florin” to “Two Shillings”.

What’s more, your collection also includes a Charles III Silver Britannia as all silver content was removed from our circulating coins in 1946. This special 1oz coin is made from .999 pure silver and has been minted in uncirculated condition.

This beautiful set of silver coins is set to be passed down through the generations. To ensure it will be treasured for years to come, we have housed it in a deluxe wooden display chest that is yours at no extra charge. It features a silver-toned lock and key for added security and a sparkling glass top that allows you to easily admire your coins in all their glory.
