Item #:UK-CMCC

On 6th May 2023, Charles III entered Westminster Abbey to be crowned King following the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth, in 2022. Due to Her Late Majesty’s incredible 70-year reign, this was a once-in-a-lifetime event for many people. Now, to mark this historic succession, Danbury Mint is proud to present a stunning collection combining Brilliant Uncirculated coins from the last year of Queen Elizabeth’s reign and first year of King Charles’ reign, presented in a stunning one-of-a-kind pictorial display.

The 2022 coins feature Matthew Dent’s shield design that first appeared in 2008. The 2023 coins feature brand-new designs inspired by His Majesty’s enthusiasm for nature and conservation. As part of the collection, you’ll also receive the 2022 Queen Elizabeth Memorial Crown and the 2023 Coronation Crown. What’s more, the collection also includes two specially-minted ingots for each monarch featuring their portrait and crown.

Each coin is preserved in individual capsules before being encased in decorated panels. When these panels are placed side-by-side, they reveal three stunning portraits that show Queen Elizabeth and King Charles throughout the years. The reverse of each panel lists the specifications of each coin.

As a subscriber, you will receive – at no additional charge – a bespoke, specially-designed wooden display chest, perfect for showcasing your entire collection, and a Certificate of Authenticity.

There are no gimmicks or hidden fees. The total cost of an item doesn’t change whether paying in full or in instalments. This is simply offered as a convenience to our customers.

Why do I pay for postage and handling on each instalment?
We take the total cost of postage and hnadling and divide it by the number of instalments so that each instalment is the same amount. The shipping and service charge is the same whether you pay in full or in instalments.
