Item #:UK-PISM

After victory at Waterloo, engraver Benedetto Pistrucci was commissioned to create a commemorative medal celebrating all those involved. What he constructed is considered two of the most beautiful and intricate designs ever seen on coinage. Unfortunately, progress on the designs were so slow that the medals were never minted. Now, these iconic designs have been reproduced in all their original detail. Presenting… Pistrucci's Waterloo Medal Proof Set, a collection of both Waterloo Medal 1oz silver bullion coins issued by the Royal Mint in stunning proof condition.

This collection includes both Waterloo Medal 2oz silver proof coins minted by the Royal Mint. The 2024 issue bears the original obverse design, while the 2025 coin features the original reverse design. The coins have been struck using moulds of the original tools produced by Pistrucci. The portrait of  King Charles accompanies both designs. The coins have been struck in one ounce of 999 fine silver and finished to the finest Proof standard.

With this collection, you will receive a unique, specially-designed display, perfect for showcasing this magnificent collection. What’s more, it’s yours at no extra charge. You’ll also receive a Certificate of Authenticity, verifying the contents of your collection, and a magnifying loupe, allowing you to view all the detail.

There are no gimmicks or hidden fees. The total cost of an item doesn’t change whether paying in full or in instalments. This is simply offered as a convenience to our customers.
Please be advised that instalments are only available on orders placed with a major credit card.

Does it cost more to pay by the instalment plan than if you pay all at once?
No, there is no extra cost for paying by instalments – this is a convenience that we offer to our customers.

Why do I pay for postage and handling on each instalment?
We take the total cost of postage and hnadling and divide it by the number of instalments so that each instalment is the same amount. The shipping and service charge is the same whether you pay in full or in instalments.
