Papa is a gorgeous hand-crafted bear made of the finest mohair in a rich chestnut hue. His fur has been dyed using a hand-applied batik process to create areas of fabulous light and shade within his coat. His children, Ben and Mila are also hand made from the softest wool plush.
Lovingly crafted by hand, they have stitched claws, embroidered noses and mouths and sparkling black boot button eyes. Their cute outfits have been created with the same care and attention as the bears themselves. Just like those early Steiff bears, Papa has a wonderful authoritative voice… tilt him gently from front to back to hear his friendly growl.
All three bears have movable joints, enabling you to pose them as you wish.
Each bear has the iconic Steiff golden button and label with red writing in their ear. It’s your guarantee that these delightful siblings are being produced in a strict limited edition. Just 1,902 sets can ever be created for worldwide demand – in honour of the year Steiff created the very first teddy bear. Demand is expected to be high.
