World War I Silver Coins
As the centenary of the First World War is remembered around the globe, we have brought together a set of silver coins that were in circulation during the conflict. Six coins from countries involved in the Great War make up this remarkable collection – a threepence from Great Britain, an American Mercury dime, a French 50 centimes coin, a German ½ mark, a Russian 15 kopeks coin and an Austrian corona. The coins are safely encapsulated and displayed in a sophisticated mahogany-like box.
