Product Description

Elizabeth II. Victoria. George III. Edward III. Henry III. These are the Kings and Queens who ruled our country for the longest periods. Stretching back 800 years to the 13th Century, these five rulers oversaw pivotal moments in Britain’s past. Foreign battles, civil war, plague, the Industrial Revolution and the end of the Empire are just some of the world-changing events that these monarchs witnessed.

This fascinating collection brings together five historic coins, one from each of the reigns of these Kings and Queens: silver pennies from the reigns of Henry III and Edward III, silver shillings from the reigns of George III and Victoria, and a half-crown from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. These five coins also reveal the history of coin minting, from ancient techniques to the modern coin presses used today.

Each coin will arrive in a protective capsule and accompanied by a special-edition Fact Card. The set is housed in a lockable display box – yours free of charge – custom-designed to show your collection flat or at an angle.

Two coins will be sent with your first shipment, after which one coin will be delivered every other month until you have all five coins in the collection.

Orders for non-personalised products which are in stock should be delivered within about a week. Personalised products may take longer.
