Product Description
When Winston Churchill became Prime Minister in May 1940 he made a rousing speech: “Victory, victory at all costs… however long and hard the road may be.” On the 8th May 1945, victory came, and the Allies ended the War in Europe. Imperial Japan then surrendered on 14th August 1945 and brought to an end seven long years of conflict.
Countries across the globe are paying tribute to the End of World War Two with official postage stamps commemorating this monumental occasion. In observance of the 75th anniversary, Danbury Mint is pleased to present this extraordinary collection featuring mint-condition stamps from around the world.
Collector’s Album is 12¾" x 10¾" x 2¾".
