Product Description

This fascinating set brings together two silver coins from a tumultuous time in our nation’s history – a hammered Charles I half crown and a milled Charles II half crown. No two hammered coins are exactly alike as they were struck without a collar and vary in shape. The Charles II coin is one of the earliest examples of a regular, machine-struck coin, produced after the Commonwealth era of Oliver Cromwell. Just imagine who may have handled your coins? If they could talk, what stories they might tell! It comes complete with a handsome display chest provided at no extra charge.

(Dates of the coin may vary from those shown).

Display is 7¾" x 5½” x 1¾”

Orders for non-personalised products which are in stock should be delivered within about a week. Personalised products may take longer.
