On 20th November 1915, the legendary Willie Maley led his Celtic side to a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Celtic Park. This result was the first in an extraordinary run which saw Celtic go 62 games without defeat, a record in Scottish football. This record held for over 100 years, until it was broken by Brendan Rodgers’ side in 2017 with a staggering 69 game unbeaten run, including the entirety of the 2016/2017 Scottish Premier League season.
