To mark the 250th anniversary of Vice-Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson’s birth, Danbury Mint is proud to present… The Nelson Watch, inspired by the actual chronometer used by Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar.
Just like the original, the watch has three dials. Its distinctiveness lies in each dial having a single function. One dial marks the hours, another the minutes and the last the seconds. The result is a watch face of unique character and clarity.
This watch is driven by a superior 20-jewel movement to ensure longevity and accuracy. It is fully automatic, being powered by the slightest motion. Whenever it is worn the automatic movement is re-charged; no battery is needed.
The movement is visible through the clear case back, as is the engraving, which reads: Vice Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson 1758-2008. |
